The Inner Parish Security Corporation screening, evaluation, and selection process is conducted to ensure that our clients are provided professional security personnel who are dependable, reliable, and subject to high retention. Our step by step approach to this process in unique, in that it permits orderly elimination of individuals should they fail to meet the criteria established at each step.
Inner Parish Security Corporation strives to meet the following minimum criteria for Security Officer candidates:
- Be at least 18 years of age (21 years of age for armed assignments and those states where 21 is the minimum age for security employment.)
- Be a high school graduate with the ability to prove such status: or possess an equivalency certificate; or participate in the Inner Parish Security Corporation training program and average a score of passing and attain a passing score on the Inner Parish Security Corporation administered training examinations.
- All documentation is maintained in the employee's personnel folder.
Be of good general health without physical defects or abnormalities that would interfere with performance of duties.
- Be literate in English and able to read and understand written orders and instructions; compose reports that convey complete information; complete standard forms and logs.
- Not have been terminated from previous employment for other than honorable circumstances unless extenuating causes can be documented and appropriately verified.
- No record of felony conviction or misdemeanor conviction including moral turpitude.
- Ability to obtain a state license with application procedures in process, where appropriate.
- Honorable military discharge with verification by a DD214.
